About Casper & Casper
Casper & Casper has a tradition of legal excellence that began over 70 years ago. In 1936, Jack A. Casper, a graduate of the University of Cincinnati College of Law, started a solo practice in Middletown, Ohio. He was soon joined by his brother, I. A., who also graduated from the University of Cincinnati College of Law. Together, Jack and I.A. ran a general practice firm, handling cases in a variety of areas such as divorce, probate, personal injury, and workers' compensation. I.A. kept Casper & Casper running while Jack served in World War II in the Air Corps.
Over the years, Casper & Casper grew to become one of the top workers' compensation firms in southwest Ohio. Moreover, by the late 1960's, the firm had reached a point where it was ready to welcome the next generation of the Casper family. In 1967, Arthur B. Casper, I.A.'s oldest son, joined the firm. He was soon followed by I. A.'s younger son, S. Robert Casper, and Jack's oldest son, E. Jeffrey Casper, both of whom joined the firm in 1972. A few years later, Jack's other two sons began practicing law with Casper & Casper; Douglas Casper joined the firm in 1974, and Sanford Casper joined in 1981.
By the early 1980s, Casper & Casper was focused primarily on the areas of workers' compensation law, personal injury law, products liability law, and social security disability law. The firm continued to grow as more attorneys joined the firm, and by the mid-1990s Casper & Casper had become one of the largest workers' compensation and personal injury firms in the state of Ohio. Currently we have offices in Dayton, Hamilton, and Cincinnati while our main base of operations remains in Middletown. Casper & Casper remains dedicated to serving injured plaintiffs in southwest Ohio.
